Hello, welcome to YQO! We're still working on the board's design; this is the spiritual successor to ETCZO/SSFO.

Download this app on Chrome to use the Java applets! Otherwise you want to stick to Chicken Paint or PaintBBS Neo, which use HTML5.

If you find any weird bugs or issues, or if you want a username change, let ClefdeSoll know.

Due to high amount of bots joining, accounts without any drawn pictures are now automatically deleted after 60 days. You are welcome to join again if you haven't had a chance to!

We've got a rotating banner! If you'd like to draw your own, here's what it needs;

- the size must be 900x200px and drawn here
- has to say "Yokoka's Quest Oekaki," "YQ Oekaki" or just "YQO"
- has to feature any YQ characters since they are the mascots (contact ClefdeSoll if you need refs!)
- include your username on the picture for credit!
- you can edit it as much as you like or make a different one anytime to replace it, but it's one banner per member~

Well it’s clunky and not all the tools work for some reason (???) but I was able to doodle an Yfa on my ipad! I still don’t have a real stylus though this one came with the case :’P

vERY SMOOTH SURFACES NO TRACE OF PAINT;--SLICK--is that why computer repair folks tell me,
"get an ipad for commercial work?Everything now has to be "slick" smooth?"I don't want one,but if you know some where the art technique on ipad is discussed, I'd like to read it.But I'm not a "slick"artist, I wouldn't enjoy having to be "very slick" to do commercial art now--But YOURS looks great!!

My response to the Inktober prompt "Bait". Of course, it's the fish bait in the bottom ;)

Painting is a really meditative experience for me. From having a sudden idea, to sketching it out as quickly as I can, to actually coloring and applying some slight shading... it's not a 10+h masterpiece, but it's a start.

Amanda isn't really aiming to catch anything here. Rather, she's just watching the fishes go by while dropping a line just to play around with them. You can tell, as she isn't putting any tension on the stick haha

FFR, this Amanda isn't a member of the MNC (a nebulous, large organization I'm going to lore drop later), but share a lot of their Solarpunk-like values.

to keep it private, when you get to the page with the image and you enter a description, leave it as is and it'll be kept as a "safety save" where you have 120 days to touch it up again or it gets deleted (wish I could keep them forever but I can't change that sadly so I made it a big number) but it's fine to just post it if you're worried about that

If you go to edit the image and it's the wrong version, give it a hard refresh! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me (as for what the tools are, I'm really not sure myself haha)!

Hi everyone! Just testing out the Oekaki to see how it works. Fortunately, other than the lackluster panning, it works great!

Roughly inspired by Yin' house. I'll probably simplify YQ characters, because as you can tell I don't do details :(

that is SO CUTE AND WELL-DONE!!(your blue cats remind me of a "young person"(I don't know names)--who was one of three youngsters;they were so advanced, a 13 or 9-year-old put up his own oekaki site!!Wow!!!
I'm still so impressed!!But the darling blue creature was his "moniker",his "fake-name"for the Oekaki sites; very similar to this.,I liked itc SO MUCH I broke the rules and copied it!!--The blue guy,that is.He was even BETTER than professionnal cartoon makers!!--ONLY time I ever broke that rule!!(I should have just asked to buy a copy of it,I'm sure I no longer have it.---sigh, darn!!My punishment for copying his drawing was,;;;I no longer have the picture. sigh.

ever since I revived this place there's been the occasional bot or two that tried to register, but they don't have an email to verify so the system just deletes them automatically after a few days.. it never works...

yet they keep trying. i logged in to 45 attempts today. i don't want to delete them in case *one* of them is a legit user and also it's tedious and they'll get wiped eventually, but they're clogging the memberlist and I frankly wish they'd give it up already.
